Hi Steve, I have watched your videos about t-shirt printing, i like it, its very detailed. I tried it but I'm not sure why the image is blurry. I can hardly see it. Is it depends on the emulsion used?
Hi - If the emulsion is not washing out from the logo area of the screen, then it sounds like you need to try another screen and reduce the exposure time. Make sure you give the water time to soften it up until it will wash out. It took me 3 or 4 times before I worked out the variables on my first attempts. There are different emulsions, but I only know EX1 works.
Hi - I haven't made any of those. I did receive some from a friend after their wedding so I could make pens from them. Basically they cut about a 6" section of limb, then drilled a hole in the top for tealight candles. Buy the candles first so you drill the right size hole...they are not all a standard size.
Steve, I have a question for the pocket hole lamp.How long is the drill bit? When I drill the hole the bit just barely comes through on the backside. The bit I'm using came with the Kreg I bought. I am using 3/4 inch stock.
Hey Duane! Sorry for the delay - just now saw your question. I used the bit that came with the R3 kit. I put the bit into the drill just enough for it to grip it. I also used 1/2" stock I think. It didn't make a complete hole all the way through, but it was enough for light to shine through. You could remove the jig and finish drilling the hole the rest of the way though.
Hi Tate - I use 3M General Purpose 45. I spray a very light mist on the template and let it dry about 30 seconds, so it feels a little tacky like a post it note. If you spray too much it will be hard to remove, but you can soak it with mineral spirits and it will lift right off, then just wipe off any residue with mineral spirits. A light coat will prevent that though.
