I made this wall mount using some scrap maple, walnut, and Baltic birch. It is nice to have a dedicated place for my laptop in the workshop when running the CNC machine or just watching YouTube videos.
The hardware is readily available at the big box store. All of the details about the hardware I used are in the PDF plan.
This wall mount is perfect for my 17" laptop that weighs about six pounds. If you will be mounting a larger or heavier laptop, I suggest making a more beefy mounting arm.
Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteThank you for checking out my project!
DeleteVery interesting project. I think you did a great job. As a hobby woodworker who makes his share of mistakes in the shop it's nice to see a pro like yourself sharing your's. Finally, IMHO your correct with walnut and maple making for a beautiful look. Congrats on a fine video.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much! Hello St. Paul! I had a gut feeling about that piece breaking. There's always a way to fix mistakes, and usually it's an improvement.
